Well I think it's going good... my right knee is feeling better and I don't gasp as much on the lung burning hills. They added sand and gravel to lots of the red path, so that makes it more difficult, and I have to remember (which is hard at my age) where they added sand so I don't slide out! I am officially at 286 kms.
Wes and I hit the trails in Calgary on mother's day what a treat to be on pavement!!!!!!!!! Weather was awesome and saw some geese with the babies... Other than getting scared sh^%less last week by a free dog not much else to report.
Won't get many miles on next week as I'm in Winnipeg and than when I return bike is going in for repairs. Ask me why, brakes are rubbing, mirror is broken, handles grips are worn out, guard for the chain is broken and the fenders rattle so loud not sure I need my bike bell to warn people on the trail that I'm coming! Bike Brothers here in Cochrane will have it like new I'm sure.... and with Wes's lime green paint job it will be like a new bike.
I'll post a picture when it's all shinny and clean.
Thanks to those who have donated, and promised money it was nice to see the red line go up to my goal on the money raised as well.
In my dream world I am past Hanna and in Youngston and am 80 Kms away from the Saskatchewan border.... It's flat enough I can see it....
Have an awesome day.
Peace... Theresa
